Relative Solutions was pleased to be a sponsor at Family Business Magazine’s Transitions conference on March 18-20 in St. Petersburg, FL.
Partners Carolyn Greenspon and Rebecca Meyer led a workshop titled “The Family Quotient: Conquering the Family Enterprise Paradox,” where they, along with "now" and "next" generation family members, explored the idea that every family that shares assets experiences a paradox: The economic ties that connect the family also have the potential to drive them apart. The good news is that there are practical ways of managing this paradox that help both the family relationships and their assets thrive. In this session we’ll provide some practical approaches to help families manage challenges and opportunities of shared-ownership and hear stories from the lived experience of a 100-year-old family business.
