JOSHUA SCHULTZ, PSY.D.

Consultant

Dr. Joshua Schultz is a psychologist and consultant at Relative Solutions, where he works with families, leaders, and advisory teams navigating the psychological dimensions of wealth, leadership, and generational transition. His work focuses on helping individuals and families engage complex relational and identity dynamics with clarity, intention, and shared purpose.

A primary emphasis of Joshua’s consulting is supporting next-generation leaders as they step into roles of influence and stewardship. Through leadership coaching, executive assessment, and career development, he helps emerging leaders cultivate self-awareness, confidence, and authenticity—enabling them to lead from values rather than expectation. He is particularly skilled at guiding families through emotionally charged and transitional moments, including grief, shifting family roles, and nontraditional pathways to wealth. In these contexts, Joshua brings a steady, compassionate presence, helping families navigate decision-making, surface unspoken dynamics, and realign around shared values.

Joshua earned his Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from Widener University in 2020 and is licensed in Pennsylvania. He is also Hogan Assessment–certified, allowing him to integrate psychological insight with strategic leadership evaluation. His approach is grounded in wealth psychology and family systems theory and is applied to challenges such as wealth transfer, family governance, generational transitions, conflict resolution, and purpose-driven philanthropy.

Joshua is actively engaged in the professional community and has contributed to organizations including the Philadelphia Estate Planning Council, the Philadelphia Society of Clinical Psychologists (where he previously served on the board), and the Society for Consulting Psychology.
